We were delighted to have help potting on our wildflowers from 30 members of Eynsham Guide Unit on the evening of Tuesday 16th June!

We talked about the importance of biodiversity, some of the history of Eynsham's local meadows and why we are stiving to restore them.

Braving the odd rainshower, the guides then very efficiently potted on lots of our key indicator species wildflowers, grown from seed - Devils Bit Scabious and Betony.

These plants will be planted out in the Autumn in our community meadows, and hopefully will thrive there with the advantage of being established plants with a decent root system already in place. Thanks to the Guides for their help!
