Eynsham local expert Anna Rowlands is leading a water vole survey of Long Mead with some of her colleagues from the ecology team at Atkins Ltd.
Anna and her colleages have kindly offered to provide an introduction to water vole survey techniques and field sign identification to NRN members so that we can start finding out if water voles have started to return to water courses around Eynsham. We know they live further up the Limb Brook in NRN member Graham Soames' garden at South Leigh. If water voles are your thing and you’d like to learn how to identify their presence from field signs, and maybe even see or hear water vole during the surveys, join Anna on Long Mead on next Saturday at 3pm.
