STOP PRESS -
Eynsham Parish Council hasn’t managed to process the permissions for the second phase of hedge-planting in the Playing Fields, which was planned for 12 Feb. i.e. tomorrow, but the hedgerow project is going ahead in Eynsham Primary School (OX29 4LJ), so please come and help there!
For those who missed out and those who are now addicted to hedge-planting (or to green gym, or to socialising with like-minded people) the Parish Council/NRN team have cleared another area to add to the restoration and extension of the the Playing Field hedges, and Wild Oxfordshire has sourced more hedging. So, come on down to the Playing Fields and join in the fun - we'll be starting on the north side this time.
Again, for those with slighter muscles, there is plenty of enjoyable activities, popping the whips in the slits made by the diggers and spreading hay around them to help them grow.
