A practical introduction to identifying tracks and signs in the landscape with Bob Cowley - open to all. In the afternoon, a hands-on creative response in clay to the animal prints and other signs found during the morning workshop, led by ceramist Alison Holmans.
No experience needed.
The morning workshop is open to everyone and can be attended on its own. The afternoon workshop, since it is an artistic response to fieldwork, requires attendance of the morning workshop.
Program:
The day will start at 10.00am at Long Mead Barn with the tracks and signs walk led by Bob Cowley (sturdy mud-proof footwear essential). From 12:00 -13:00 there will be a break for lunch (bring a pack lunch or book nearby Talbot Pub). The creative clay workshop with Alison Holmans will start at 13:00 pm in the nearby Sports Pavilion.
