After the hay was taken this summer we embarked on another stage of our wild-flower meadow restoration project. This was on one of the fields known as Changeable Furlongs, which is well know to NRN hedgeplanters. Seeding a field with a species-rich plant community is a complex operation involving big machines, plant propagators and many other willing experts. So here are the unexpurgated details of this July's marathon.
