Join Waterperry Orchardist Chris Lanczak for a winter orchard pruning workshop at Long Mead. You will learn the art of tree-pruning in winter and how to manage a mature orchard - older than 15 years.
This workshop is a collaboration between West Oxfordshire District Council, Nature Recovery Network and Long Mead Foundation. It is funded by the Coronation Living Heritage Fund.

The Workshop will take place at Long Mead's orchard. Please travel by foot, bus or bike if you can. The S1 Bus stops at the Talbot Inn, just outside our gate. We are between the Swinford Toll Bridge and the Talbot Inn (opposite the pub) recogniseable by the row of rusty birds on the gate and a thatch barn in the orchard.
If you need to travel by car please use the Eynsham Sports Pavilion car park (1 Oxford Rd, Eynsham, Witney OX29 4HG).
