Community Meadow Restoration Day: Summer
July meet up to continue with the restoration of the 50 acres that the Nature Recovery Network have leased adjacent to the river Thames. This is land where we can all help restore the nature around us.
Come and meet us at the most glorious time of the year down at the meadows!
We will be continuing work to support the restoration of the meadows - with tasks including plant propagation: collecting & sorting wildflower seed / sowing / potting on rare wildflowers / scything.
Please bring thermoses and a picnic lunch. There will be cake!
We'll meet Long Mead at 10.00am. It is always helpful if you can arrive at the beginning so that we can brief everyone together. But if you can’t make it at the start, check at Long Mead Barn for information about where we are working.
