Community Restoration Day: Wildflower Planting Out
Be part of NRN's meadow restoration success!
Planting thriving wildflowers grown and raised from seed in the plant nursery at Long Mead is an essential part of our strategy for restoring floodplain meadows.
Join us all as we plant out our hand propagated wildflowers in restoration meadows near Eynsham Lock, alongside partners from Oxford Conservation Volunteers.
The working location is still to be confirmed - it will depend on where the soil has rehydrated sufficiently.
Meet at Long Mead Wildlife Site Barn at 10am.
Please dress suitably in outdoor clothing and bring your own lunch / refreshments. Gardening gloves and boots or wellies are recommended. There will be cake!
